Abstract
A list is given of nematode species, present in the collection of the Plantenziektenkundige Dienst, which have been collected from terrestrial biotopes in the Netherlands. Those known from the Netherlands already have been marked with an asterisk; also the (as far as the writers know) first reports of these species for the Netherlands are given by means of numbers in brackets which refer to the literature list. A number of marine species has been found by us in brackish soils: Tripyloides gracilis (Ditlevsen), Theristus flevensis Schuurmans Stekhoven, Spilophorella paradoxa (de Man), Metachromadora vivipara (de Man), Anoplostoma viviparum (Bastian), Dolicholaimus marioni de Man and Syringolaimus striaticaudatus de Man. Helicotylenchus multicinctus (Cobb) is recorded from a greenhouse (soil around roots of banana) at Wageningen.
