Abstract
The SWOME/KSI Markdag is a joint inititative of SWOME, KSI and the Ministry of VROM. This day aims to bring together social scientists and policy-makers working on issues such as nature conservation and the environment. By facilitating a dialogue, we wish to establish a fruitful interaction between science and policy. The SWOME/KSI Markdag 2006 is particularly aimed at discussing issues related to the concept of transitions, seeking to discuss the issues and problems encountered by both scientists and policy-makers.
