Abstract

To maintain healthy living, we need to eat nutritious but also safe food. Food safety is therefor an integral part of food security and is a responsibility for all stakeholders in the food supply chain, from farmers to retailers. In Vietnam, the Mekong delta region is one of the main food production areas. Unfortunately, current food production is increasingly challenged by multiple pressures such as increased salinity and drought. Farmers will have to adapt to these conditions by adopting intervention strategies or even to transition tot a new farming system. This video explains the different adaptation solutions for farmers to create safe and healthy food.
