Voorbereiden monitoringsprogramma pulskorvisserij (BO-20-010-091)

In the context of the landing obligation and as justification for the additional pulse permits, the Netherlands committed itself to evaluate the effect on the catch of small fish of the transition of the beam trawl fishery with tickler chains to a fishery pulse vessels.

Part of this research is the monitoring of the catches from a representative part of the Dutch pulse fleet targeting flatfish. Before this research project can start, some preparatory activities must take place such as the determination of the ship's deployment and the selecting of the ships.

This project focuses on these preparatory activities.
