Verkenning beleidsopgaven voor beter stelsel ANLB (NAPRO) (BO-43-023.01-008, BO-11-020-007)

Recently nature based agriculture is gaining attention in the public debate and within the ministry of agriculture and nature. there are many developments going on to support this kind of sustainable agriculture. Because of the dynamics and the  explorative nature of the topic, this project is meant to provide policy supporting research along the policy process. In 2018 the project consisted of 2 parts: Measures and indicators:

1) Measures.

This part of the project explored qualitatively, based on scientifc literature, the effects on several aspects of nature based measures on a farm and resulted in a report(https://www.rijksoverheid.nl/documenten/kamerstukken/2017/07/10/kamerbrief-over-natuurinclusieve-landbouw)

2) Indicators

To monitor the state and trend of nature based agriculture, there is a need for an overview of suitable indicators that can be applied at national and regional level. This part of the project  resulted in a long list and a short list of suitable indicators, inclduing an overview and factsheets per indicator of measure methods, data sources, frequency of data gathering etc.
