Project Details
Description
Stimulation of disease suppression of Rhizoctonia solani in soils by the addition of organic animal by-products. Previous research has shown the efficacy of antagonistic Lysobacter species to suppress Rhizoctonia after such applications. The current project will translate this knowledge to field applications and will assess the mechanism of disease suppression.
