Description
Drinking water companies are faced increasingly by transitions that have effects on their core tasks. They find themselves balancing between ensuring they can still ensure the fulfillment of these core tasks and contributing to different transitions. Inherently, transitions ask for more and different types of collaboration. Area-oriented management plays an important role in this, due to it's goal of creating a dialogue between organizations and their (social) environment. Area-oriented managament can potentially set in motion transformative change with a focus on societal gain. In this project I aim to further explore this potential and conceptualize 'transformative area-oriented management.
