Description

Aim of the project is build up fundamental knowledge needed to optimize and re-design restrictive supply chains of fruit, vegetables and flowers to avoid postharvest losses, maintain high resource use efficiency and connect consumer demands to production and supply chain restrictions.

Physiological and microbiological processes will be unraveled in order to determine biomarkers which can be used as input for quality/ripening/decay prediction of fresh produce.
