Stochastische modellen voor managementbeslissingen onder risicofactoren en onzekerheden (KB-17-001.02-002)

In designing and managing protected cultivation systems it is general assumed that there is full knowledge about the structure and parameterization of the system and influences of the environment, like weather and product process. In reality this is in general not the case. In this project on basis of actual cases, sources of uncertainty will be studied and it will be investigated how to deal with these sources of uncertainty during the design stage.

The project will result in a method for dealing with uncertainty in design and management of protected cultivation systems, a PhD thesis and 4 papers in scientific journals on the subjects,  modelling, uncertainty analysis, results and analysis of simulations
