Project Details
Description
This project aims to engineer spatial organization of synthetic microbial communities (SynComs) in order to enable long-term coexistence of community members. Prolonged coexistence could allow for continuous high-rate bioprocessing of cellulosic components into valuable platform chemicals, contributing towards the shift to a biobased circular economy.
