Project Details

Description

Smart systems usually include and are operated by humans (within (virtual) organizations) following implicit or explicit processes. In this context, we will focus on aspects of sociotechnical systems (‘Complex Adaptive Systems’) for addressing the interaction between society/individuals and technology. Social simulation, using simulation gaming and agent-based modelling, is a prominent research method we use for investigating the emergent dynamics of socio-technical systems.
