Project: EZproject

Project Details

Description

Adaptation science aims to support society to prepare to climate change. Do Wageningen UR adaptation research projects result in adaptation action and to what extent do they lead to social innovation? It is expected that the different science groups approach adaptation differently and will use various ways to bring science to society. This will be analysed by a comparative qualitative approach and via co-creating workshops. The result of the project is:

* a good understanding of the Wageningen UR approach of social innovation creation in adaptation

* lessons learned on the difficulties to create social innovation by adaptation research projects

* a Wageningen UR Climate Innovation Society

* exchange and sharing experience among adaptation scientists on social innovation and climate change adaptation.
