Thanks to a good and guaranteed dehumidification with a heat pump system, a great quality stroke can be achieved both in the plant (shorter internodes) and in the harvested product (less blue discoloration and glassiness) (Warmenhoven, 2009). The light level in winter is low in practical greenhouses due to the high degree of insulation. This costs production, but exposure tests in practice do not lead to the desired production improvements and to the stretching and collapse of the crop.
