ShaRepair: Sharing and repairing as circular consumption practices in everyday urban life

Project: NWO project

Project Details

Description

Practices of sharing and repairing consumer goods are important for a circular society. Yet, most people don’t engage in sharing and repairing, and the potential negative environmental side effects are largely unknown. This project develops strategies to make sustainable forms of sharing and repairing accessible to a broader group of people. In urban Living Labs, citizens, local initiatives, knowledge institutes, industry and policy actors collaborate to test and scale up new services and practices of sharing and repairing. This will support the embedding of environmentally-beneficial sharing and repairing in daily life.
