Senior Expert Foresight for Food System Transformation (F4FST)

The Senior Expert contributes to the implementation of the CGIAR initiative on Sustainable Healthy Diets through Food System Transformation (SHiFT). The Senior expert is leading work package 4 on scenario trade-off analysis, which assesses the synergies and trade-offs between environmental, socio-economic and health outcomes. With support of SEP, the Senior Expert, will develop, test and implement a foresight for food system transformation (F4FST) approach that combines stakeholder engagement and simulation modelling at multiple scales in Vietnam and Ethiopia. The F4FST approach will support decision makers to assess implications for policies and build capacity to navigate potential trade-offs.
