Much knowledge on the green aspects of urbanization exist and is being developed. In order to enhance the application of this knowledge, this project translates and transforms innovative knowledge into tools. These tools should support the uptake of this knowledge in urban development by local stakeholders. It can be knowledge tools and green building blocks that companies and/or authorities can use in specifying and applying green metropolitan solutions. With this the project contributes to the application and modulation of existing knowledge in view of more green urban (re)development practices.
The project synthesizes urban knowledge from national, European and international research in cooperation with urban stakeholders.
