Project Details
Description
Although specialised, Dutch arable and dairy sectors are strongly interconnected. Due to recent developments in dairy, the dynamics have increased on the markets for manure and land, but also in the cooperation between indvidual farms (exchanging land, manure and feed). The project analyses this interaction on sectoral and farm level and develops a knowledge and innovation agenda. Topics on the agenda are addressed in spin-off projects, such as the workpackage Manure Quality in the PPS Better Soil Quality and the regional project 'Vruchtbare Kringloop Noord-Holland'. These projects also provide cases and a stakeholder network for the KB project.
In 2018, all project activities will be completed and reported and will be used for communication through a national symposium, a series of contributions to the WUR blog page 'kringlooplandbouw' and to develop a knowlegde and innovation agenda for the coming years.
