Description

Within the "total-use" programme new food sources, new processing of foodstuffs and new food contact materials are developed. The testing scheme that will be developed allows to determine whether these new materials and applications are safe. In 2018 the developed analytical scheme will be tested by the analysis of two FCM samples. Execution of the analytical scheme will result in a list of identified NIAS in FCM. The use of an in silico tool as a prioritization strategy will result in a limited number of these NIAS to be selected for further toxicity testing.
