Project Details

Description

The Government’s Vision for Nature 2014 notices that changes in climate and society cause a growing awareness that conservation efforts must be directed more towards proper environmental conditions instead of particular species and habitats. A resilient nature with room for natural processes relies heavily on the contribution of local residents and businesses in the immediate surroundings. What is the effect of these processes on biodiversity and land use functionality, and are there opportunities for synergies with for example water safety, recreation and food production? This should result in more emphasis on natural dynamics within the framework of land use functionality and its opportunities.
