The Education Inspectorate annually assesses the knowledge and skills of students in grade 6 of primary education in areas of learning that have been designated as core objectives. After a pilot in 2022, the knowledge, skills and attitudes of students in the field of Life and Science will be measured in the spring of 2023. Questionnaires also collect information about characteristics of participating pupils, teachers and schools. Part of the research is also an in-depth, qualitative measurement to gain insight into the factors that promote and hinder the design of effective education in the field of Life and Science.
