We aim to answer the questions “What are the patterns in bacterial pathogen host interaction?”. Various pathogens are studied using common concepts, methods, and strategies. In this thesis we study the pathogenesis of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Mycoplasma pneumoniae, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus species such as Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pneumoniae.
