Optimaliseren ecologische kwaliteit door gebiedsgericht samenwerken aan natuur en landschapsbeheer (BO-11-011.01-056)

Nature and landscape policy have been decentralised from the national to the provincial level. However, general concern about the effectiveness and their relation with CAP require a national framework. The provinces already had their own policy to protect nature en landscape values and now investigate how to manage schemes in such a way that they stimulate cooperation between several stakeholders in certain area's covering nature reserves (EHS, Natura 2000) as well as the surrounding agricultural landscape, in an effective way without hampering entrepreneurs. A number of already developed area's will be studied te derive guidelines for reaching high biodiversity values. Attention will be given to the cooperation of the parties involved in nature en landscape management.
