This project explores Informational Governance in the domain of agri-food chains and focusses on consumer and farmer behaviour. We explore two case studies in which change agents use or developed online platforms as a way to support change of either consumer or farmer behaviour. The first case study focusses on the practice of knowledge brokers that aim to influence behaviour of dairy farmers by developing controlled information systems and explores the online search behaviour young of dairy farmers. The second case study focusses on users of information that interact in the un-controlled information systems and as such influence consumer behaviour. These case studies will be provide insight in which key influence the effectiveness of controlled and uncontrolled information systems to support behavioural change farmers and consumer.
