Description
Upon request of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, working groups of experts (WUR, independent experts and Veterinary Faculty) provided advice. The topic of the advice were the issue of dealing with bottlenecks regarding the application of “antibiotics of second choice”. The expert groups were asked to provide within a short time a clear and thorough evaluation of the sectors plan regarding this issue. For the pig, dairy and veal calf sector such an expert group was formed. Advice of these expert groups contributed to the definitive opinion of the Ministry of Economic Affairs communicated to sector and Parliament.
