Kruiscontaminatie (BO-20-016-014)

This project studies the cross-contamination of antibiotics at the farm. From results obtained by the analysis of faeces of animals (performed in 2014) it became clear that feaces samples contains a lot of antibiotics in small concentrations (RIKILTreport 2014.015). It is not clear yet if this is due to the use of antibiotics or due to cross-contamination at the farm (unintented exposure of animals to antibiotics).

To monitor the unintended exposure samples of (drinking)water, faeces and dust will be taken at different farms and will be analysed for containing residues. The results will give an indication about the unintended exposure of animals/environment by antibiotics.

Final results will be analytical data and a final WUR report.
