Description
With this project Wageningen Marine Research aim to provide fishers fundamental knowledge on fish behaviour inside pulse trawls. This will be done by making under water video recordings inside pulse trawls while the vessel is fishing. In those availeble recordings stakeholders can study species specific fish behaviour and use this knowledge to generate ideas to develop selective trawls for the sole fisheries, where the target species will be separated from the bycatch species based on behavioural differances.
