KD-2016-020 Ontwikkeling stalboekjes konijnhouderij en kalkoenhouderij (BO-20-016-024)

In this project 2 stable booklets for rabbits and turkeys will be composed. Goal of these booklets is to help the farmer to improve animal management and to support animal health with natural products as means to reduce the use of antibiotics. These are guides for farmers  to keep their animals healthy with herbs and other natural products. RIKILT has made these guides for dairy cattle, veal calves, pigs and poultry. The booklets for rabbits and turkeys will have a similar lay-out, with general information about natural products, health problems in commercial production, advice on supportive animal management and the use of natural products, a list of suppliers of these products and in the annex a description of the products with literature substantiating their efficacy in practice.
