Description
The production of food is closely related to the use of resources, climate change, and economic development of countries all over the world. Food waste is a tangible indicator for inefficiencies in the supply chain, integrating resources, environmental and social-economic aspects. This research includes an inventory of effective legal measures that can be introduced to reduce food waste in the Netherlands, if and when the current objective of a 20% reduction is not met by 2015.
