Incentives for sustainable delivery of soil related ecosystem services (KB-21-002-017)

Project: EZproject

Project Details

The goal of this project is to assess which incentives are missing or need adaptation to restore the balance between food production and other soil ecosystem services in soil management in Dutch farming systems. Differetn types of incentives may be effective for different types of farmers and partners in the production chain. We use three approaches: trade-off analysis of soil ecosystem services and soil measures, analysis of manure and lease policy and analysing motives of farmers in sustainable soil management. In 2018 we use the results for a symposium with scientists and chain partners and for a agenda setting paper.
