Health information systems in intellectual disability care: towards the re-use of routinely collected data

In the care of people with intellectual disabilities, much is recorded by care providers in Health information systems. In this study we look at how the data from these health information systems can be reused for research. We focus on the software architectures of existing health information systems in the Dutch intellectual disability care and present a plan for a big data system based on these architectures
