Project Details
Description
In most crops grown in glasshouses in the Netherlands drain water is being reused. However, in some crops (Amaryllis, potorchids and Cymbidium) little drainage water is being reused. The project conservation plant health and prevention of growth inhibition is focused on solutions for the problems that prevent the reuse of drain water in the cultivation of amaryllis, potorchids and Cymbidium. These solutions will lead to less water and minerals begin used in the future in line with the innovation theme 'more with less' from the top sector Horticulture and Starting Materials.
