Project Details
Description
We aim to develop synthetic models of gut endocrine and immune function. Tuning of the system inputs and modelling of the system output to known aspects of gut physiology will potentially make the synthetic gut-on-a-chip an efficient tool in studies of (personalized) food and gut health and disease, and food safety. In addition it will contribute to a reduction of animal experiments
