Project Details

Green Deal Producing Landscape is a collaboration between Staatsbosbeheer, LTO Nederland and the Ministery of Economic Affairs that did begin in 2013. The goals of the Green Deal is to develop new ways to combine both agriculture and nature development and to encourage optimal and efficient land use (soil and water system), resulting in biodiversity improvement and income for farmers.

An experiment is settled and sciences is needed to monitor and evaluated the experiment. The aim of the experiment is to regain phosphate by the crops themselves which is expected to contribute to soil and water quality as well as to the Natura 2000 biodiversity goals. The results of the monitoring will be used to develop crop related strategies.
