Geminiaturiseerde, multi-analiet en on-site diagnostische platforms (KB-17-002.02-003)

Project: LVVN project

Project Details

Description

In this project miniaturised, multi-analyte diagnostic platforms are being developed. The multi-analyte nature is characterised by the detection of 10 to 25 components simultaneously. Two innovative platforms are being developed, one based on a lateral flow format and a second one on the well-known ELISA.

In collaboration with internal and external partners applications are being developed for the detection of microbial pathogens, proteins and chemical compounds (toxins, pesticides, antibiotics) in, for example, the environment, agricultural and food products and animal matrices. Furthermore, applications to detect components that point to undesired processes such as plagues, stress or spoilage will be research targets. In this way possible threats for human and animal health and product quality can be timely observed.
