Description
The goats, rabbits, ostriches, ducks, and turkeys are small and less well-known intensive farming sectors. The last few decades are also the minor sectors has grown considerably, in part because of the growing interest of consumers in other types of meat. This growing interest, the entrepreneurs in the minor sectors, did not seen it back in their selling prices.
This research concerns an exploration into possible vision to improve the continuity in the total chain.
There are with parties from different segments in the chain exploratory discussions in order to develop a vision on how to work on a stable milk price for the sector.
To achieve a more stable and higher milk price is referred to by stakeholders indicated that it is necessary for the sector itself to stay behind a wide shared vision document for the next 5 years. That there is an approach to information flows to commit to the vision document. And that from the sector itself (LTO/NGZO) leadership is arrested to make arrangements for any consequences as individual entrepreneurs may or may not participate in quality systems.
