Project Details
Description
Building with nature is now a household name in the Netherlands. For example, the Sand Motor constructed in the coastal zone in South Holland, is an sand island from which sand is transported to the coast. It been constructed as an cheaper and more natural alternative to the annual sand replenishments and should function for 2 decades. Further away from the coast, in the North Sea, such ideas have not been developed yet. In this project, these opportunities are inventoried.
