Description
Het RIKILT past omics-technologie toe voor karakterisering van toxiciteit van bepaalde voedingsmiddelen of contaminanten, ontwikkeling van effect-gebaseerde in vitro bioassays, veiligheidsanalyse en detectie van nieuwe genetische gemodificeerde organismen (GGO’s). Dit project beoogt ontwikkeling van bioinformatica tools op Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), system biology en biologische interpretatie van omics data.
