Description
There have been suggestions that diet and certain bacteria in the large bowel determine the availability of vitamins and other compounds potentially impacting human health. In this research, we showed that some vitamins and other dietary components such as dietary fibres, could influence the outcomes of cancer treatment. The obtained information has the potential to contribute to development of strategies that can help to personalize therapy and to support better outcomes of cancer treatment.
