Description

Soil pressure reduces crop yields. To minimize this effect, smaller automatic tractors or precision farming techniques can be employed. In either case, the path of the agricultural vehicle needs to be planned in advance. The Fields2Cover project is focused on researching the problem of Coverage Path Planning. The project is divided into four phases: Convex fields, non-convex fields, 2.5D fields and multiple vehicles.
