This research seeks to explore the multi-layered impacts of the cash transfer intervention and the burgeoning tourism industry on park-community relations in Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda. It aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of local residents' perceptions and experiences, assess the potential effects of the park's extension, and identify the social, economic, and political factors mediating these impacts. The research is part of the WGSP funded CONNECT project.
