Description
WUR provides in this project support to the Ministery of Economic Affairs on international animal welfare issues. The following themes are addressed: • Scientific support i.r.t. EU legislation and OIE standards • Effective contribution of NL knowledge and experience in working groups of EFSA • Contributions on behalf of DANK to ANIHWA database • Report on EU regulations and initiatives regarding mutilations in livestock The selection and further definition of the topics will be done in close consultation with the Ministry
