EU24027 Observation of Ecosystem Changes for Action (OBSGESSION) (KB-50-003-027)

This mainly involves monitoring with RS and predicting with models changes in biodiversity where the integration of modern AI (Artificial intelligence) techniques, satellite data, in-situ data (incl. citizen science) and models (e.g. LPJ-GUESS, iCLUE) play an important role. OBSGESSION wants to contribute to the Nature Restoration Law, European Green Deal and the European Biodiversity Strategy 2030 to, in particular, protect nature and reverse ecosystem degradation counter with restoration plans.
