EU Food Integrity (KB-23-002-004, KB-15-001-025)

Project: EZproject

Project Details

The study is part of the EU project Food Integrity. The project Food integrity aims on the evaluation in the area of food integrity, identification of gaps, and work on these gaps. It does not only concern the technical development of test methods regarding food integrity but also normalisation/standardisation, consumer behaviour, information supply and early warning  systems.

The results will be published in peer-reviewed scientific journals. Furthermore, the project will results in protocols of methodology. The information will be shared through the projects stakeholder platform throughout the project, as well as through project meetings, conferences and workshops.

The project started in 2014 and will end in 2018. The RIKILT contribution consists of the leading of the work package Gap Analysis (WP3), and contributions to the work packages Database (WP2), Olive oil(WP4), Horizon scanning (WP8), Industry applications (WP10), and Dissemination and training(WP11). RIKILT contributes with various activities to each work package, most of which is completed at this stage. Based on inventories, also a future EU food integrity research roadmap is developed. Furthermore, RIKILT staff contributes to various white papers, which are part of the output of WP1.
