Project Details
Description
Capturing CO2 from emission points to prevent further increases in atmospheric CO2 concentration is one of the most critical global challenges. The aim of this Ph.D. project is to develop the next generation of the electrochemical CO2 capture process. In particular, the Ph.D. project will focus on new cell design and electrochemical processes based on ion exchange materials. The expected outcome of the project is a comprehensive understanding of transport phenomena involved in electrochemical CO2 capture processes, including the development of a process model for the selected technologies
