Project Details

Description

The aim of the eFoodLab project is to improve the disclosure, integration and use of  data, models and papers in food research. We do this by developing formal vocabularies and digital interfaces. eFoodLab is part of the Dutch research program on informatics called COMMIT. The project, which has been running over te past five years, will be finalized in de second quarter of this year. In the course of the project, multiple methods, tools and vocabularies have been developed. These have been applied in public and industrial (bilateral) projects on food related issues. In this final phase we will create a new version of ROC+, a tool to have domain (non-IT) experts create vocabularies in an efficient manner. We also deliver the latest version off Rosanne, an extension of Rosanne that facilitates semantic annotation of data. Both tools will be part of services offered to industrial and other clients.
