Developing eDNA based biodiversity monitoring tools for off shore wind farms

Project: PhD

Project Details

Description

The project aims to enhance the methods by which biodiversity is assessed in wind farms in the North Sea. Methods will be developed to allow for autonomous sampling, processing and analyses of eDNA in the field, next to the development of methods to increase the specificity and sensitivity of the monitoring of fish and benthic organisms in wind farms.
