Designing multi-knowledge protocols to transform transboundary policies for hydroclimatic extremes (DEMOTAPE)

The project studies (opportunities for and barriers to) transboundary cooperation for water disaster risk reduction building on both local and specialist knowledge in the Meuse (Jeker) and Brahmaputra (Beki) basins. During this first year we built a strong network, culminating in a successful Dutch-Indian webinar for exchanging expert knowledge and experience. Also thanks to local partners we selected a focal area in the Maas- For the next phase activities and deadlines have already been planned. So far, cooperation and results are promising. We are well on course to achieving our project goals.
