Description

This biennial explorative study (2017-2018) focuses on citizen science. The main aim of this exploratory project on citizen science is to investigate the scope and importance of citizen science for social innovation and value creation. In the second year, the main aim is to broaden and deepen knowledge about citizen science both within WUR and beyond. To this end, the project includes several sub-goals:

1.examination of others to recognize citizens' science as a new form of citizen science and what this means for ideas about knowledge and science

2. to discover what knowledge of citizen science exists in other knowledge units

3. good mutual acquaintance WUR with INRA with the aim of European cooperation

4. deepening of the relationship between university / academic knowledge and organization versus citizen science
