Description
Sampling methodologies have changed because of the implementation of the landing obligation. Digital camera technology can be used to facilitate monitoring catches of commercial fisheries on board and to accommodate new sampling policies likes catch fractions below minimum reference size (BMS). At the same time can automation of data collection, through computer vision technology, reduce workload on WOT field work.
