Project Details
Description
Agriculture worldwide is beset with numerous social and environmental challenges. Climate change will amplify these challenges, even as it is itself driven by emissions from agriculture. However, there exist isolated farming systems that have performed well and serve as bright spots for lessons in agricultural transformation and that can address and deal with climate change. This project will identify and map these bright spots of climate-smart agriculture. In collaboration with a range of stakeholders and societal partners, we will uncover the enablers of bright spots in order to generate recommendations for action for transformation to climate-smart agriculture.
